CHERRY BLOSSOMS handcrafted tree of life .

I begin by creating an off-white 10-inch macramé ring. Warm brown cords attach to this circular frame to form the tree. The hand-knotted trunk branches out to hold upcycled glass foliage. To craft the leaves, I use reclaimed green bottles. In my studio, I tumble and drill the glass. I individually hand-tie each piece, securing it with a green glass bead. Soft pink cherry blossom enamel charms, bright red berry clusters, and detailed gold-toned bee and butterfly charms nestle throughout the branches and roots. Below the main tree, an intricate web of fringe catches light and motion. Display-ready cascading glass petals, pink accents, and dangling charms hang beneath. It creates a stunning focal piece for a cozy nook, sunroom, garden room, or entryway.
