When paired with celestial elements—such as a crescent moon or star clusters—the dragon shifts from a symbol of raw force to one of intuition, protection, and nighttime magic. It acts as a vigilant guardian of tides, dreams, and cosmic mysteries.

I begin by covering an 8-inch ring with gray chunky macrame cord. Suspended inside the ring is a second 6-inch ring to form the half-moon. Within the two circles is a macrame web. This creates the structure to attach the glass and charms. The glass I use came from a purple vase. The glass pieces I use are tumbled and drilled in my studio. I then individually hand-tie each piece, securing it with a purple glass stone. I then paired the celestial elements; a crescent moon, star clusters and dragons
A cascading tassel of frosted glass drops below to catch the light and add fluid movement, while a golden dragons sit vigilantly inside the moon alongside miniature lunar charms.
