I begin by covering a 10-inch ring with rich blue macrame cord. Suspended inside the ring I have created a forest green tree that trunk gracefully anchors sweeping macrame branches. This creates the structure to attach the glass and charms. The glass I use came from antique clear plates and some clear bottles. The glass pieces I use are tumbled to create a Frosty appearance. and drilled in my studio. I then individually hand-tie each piece, securing it with a glass bead. I then accented the tree with glass dewdrop beads, white blossoms, and bronze pinecones. This eco-friendly piece catches natural light to bring rich texture to any space.
